If so the options panel should have radio buttons to switch to dxt1, which is what skintones should be saved under (learned this after much trial and error and loss of my own skin) It should allow you to switch between Nvidia and S3 as well. The Nvidia setting kept darkening my skin on conversion, switching to S3 solved this for me. I still use PSP 7 and haven't seen a need to upgrade yet, it does everything I want it to. I'm not really sure what other programs do now. Can you view DDS directly in your art program? It should still have those options for saving if it does. I'm sure if you find this method interesting, you could create much better.
Open the skin in skininator and then select the option 'default replacement' located on the top-right. Then on the 'File' menu select 'compact save'. Edit: That method is not working (As suspected) Maybe it is possible to use a method like this? Ding Ding Ding! A very small update for MedBod is coming (specifically the UV for the bottom) and I made some experiments cloning meshes IDs, sooooo, I'll follow this guide and if everything goes alright I'll upload a default replacement on the weekend.
I have seen one of your posts before and I think you've had the same problem as well so you know what I mean. I ll keep working on it though (fingers crossed). If you use dxt1c instead of dxt5 that should fix the problem with the neck, (and if it doesn't try it with S3 instead of Nvidia, that made a difference to mine, even though it apparently shouldn't.). If you use dxt1c instead of dxt5 that should fix the problem with the neck, (and if it doesn't try it with S3 instead of Nvidia, that made a difference to mine, even though it apparently shouldn't.) lol sorry dear but I have no idea what you're talking about. Like I said, I'm usually not a modder but I don't know what crazies drove me to trying this because for a 'slow' (lol) person like me, it would have to be insanity. I understand though that you're talking about something else rather than the nvidia plugin tool correct? I wouldn't know how to use it anyways even if I got it X3 Just to be clear though, there is nothing wrong with the neck when the face is on the original EA skin, the neck difference only happened with the other custom body skintone I tried to keep together.
There's a I used to create that skintone. (scroll down to post 3) I'm currently trying to make an anatomically correct female skintone, but just using the default as the base with added highlights. I've never fiddled with skintones before, and it's never occurred to me to look for a tutorial, so it took me an embarrassing couple of days of trying and un-doing most everything I attempted before I managed to actually get something that looked like it could be saved. You look like you've changed the entire tone as well as adding highlights. Excellent work, she looks really good. Sketchup unexpected file format. Would you mind uploading a pic of an example of the flaw you mentioned?
I tried googleing it but all the info seemed outdated and irrelevant. Thanks in advance! Word of warning. Most Sims 3 Mods will Not work with The Sims Medieval. Even the hair that has been converted has some problems. Bald spots and the hair is a little too big because the heads are smaller in TSM. Some have had limited successes with Grim's program and tutorial for clothes and whatnot, following the hair tutorial will give you some success with some of the hair, but just putting Sims 3 mods in your package folder will not work for the most part.
Or worst case scenario, I can't use any MTS body mod in TSM?! Any info would be great.
^ You need to play with the 'breast depth', 'breast distance', 'breast fullness', etc. That comes with Delphy's slider pack that I've linked on several threads (also on my signature). Sadly even then the shape varies from PC to PC and even from savegame to savegame, why? I would bet the farm that even Electronic Arts doesn't know why. Also the bigger you go the more defects you'll find, I can hide the majority while taking pics but for normal 'simming' is best to scale down, unless you have a fetish for clipping.

Just to be clear, you want it to replace the default nude bottom and top, right? That sounds very exciting! I`d like a default MedBod bottom and top, thank you.

I'd still say not without permission first, a lot of creators also have the policy of not modifying their content in any way, but everyone's policies are different, have you read the creators view on altering their content? You might find you don't have to ask at all if you credit them? Is there any way they'll let you use it? It can't hurt to ask, the worst they can do is tell you to keep it just for personal use.
