I find this a very annoying issue. I do not understand why Epson does not also give the customer the option of purchasing the ink cartridge only. I shoot alot of seniors and sell them a 4x6 print of each pose for them to make a high school senior memory book, they all love it. I had the first picturemate printer sold and used it until I wore it out and had to get a new one, and am now using it everyday. It is the best printer I have tried and I wouldn't want any other kind.
